Embarrassment

by Fon

I can’t believe I did that! While we were on our way back to school from the field trip, we sat in the back of Mrs. Lancaster’s fabulous car. My friends and I were listening to music quite loud so we didn’t really pay attention to where we were and what the others were doing. Until suddenly, the car turned a corner so fast that it made my precious body pop out of my seat and I fell face-down on the floor. And it was only me who fell. The others were still sitting on their seats properly and laughing at me. So that brought back the attention. Luckily, I did not die of embarrassment.

The Tale of the MP3 player
by David

This tale begins when my younger sister was in a frantic hurry getting equipped for the sixth grade Bangkok trip. She was frantically probing for her MP3 player, which she had placed within a bag, while complaining that she would be left out if she didn’t have one because everyone else would own Ipods and PSPs. Then, the Millers pulled up outside our residence and my sister got in, without her MP3 player, and left for the station. My mum and I then went upstairs into the office. Then, about ten seconds later, came a knocking on the door to the office. The maid entered holding a bag. And contained within this bag….. was my sisters MP3 player. I burst out laughing but my mum rebuked me for being so mean. So I ceased laughing and tried my best to stop smiling, but I failed, so I evacuated the area.
